T1 Energy is seeking a Senior Wet Etch Engineer to lead the wet chemical processes used to manufacture TOPCon solar cells at scale. You will own process development, qualification, and optimization, driving yield, efficiency, and cost improvements in a fast-paced high-volume fab environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on wet process engineering in solar cell/semiconductor manufacturing, with TOPCon or high-efficiency cell experience preferred.
• Experience with wet process development, tool qualification, and establishing baselines in high-volume manufacturing.
• Proficiency in texturing, cleaning, and etch chemistries and their impact on surface passivation and cell efficiency.
• Strong Design of Experiments skills and statistical analysis capability.

• Develop, qualify, and own wet processes for TOPCon cell manufacturing, including texturing, cleaning, and etch steps.
• Own bath chemistry, concentration control, temperature management, dosing, and bath life for various chemistries.
• Optimize texture quality, reflectance, and surface cleanliness to improve cell efficiency and passivation.
• Qualify inline and batch wet process tools from installation through production readiness.
• Lead root cause analysis for yield excursions using a physics-based approach.
• Support 24/7 manufacturing operations through rotations and on-call availability.
• Drive next-generation wet chemistry formulations to reduce cost and improve performance.
