Job summary

CompTech is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer to support the DLA Enterprise Infrastructure Services. The engineer will design, implement, and sustain secure wired and wireless LAN infrastructure across enterprise locations.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and DoD network certifications. On-site work in New Cumberland, PA is required, with full benefits, PTO, and a solid retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in network operations (military or higher education may substitute).
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting telecommunications networks.
• Experience with voice, LAN, WAN, wireless networking, and network management technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise wired and wireless LAN infrastructure.
• Maintain the technical baseline of network systems through lifecycle.
• Perform network engineering, configuration, testing, and performance optimization.
• Support integration and testing of new hardware, software, and network technologies.
• Analyze network performance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with government personnel and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure network solutions comply with DoD security requirements and standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
