Amentum is seeking a Top-Secret cleared Systems Engineer to join a high-impact team delivering data-driven analytics and mission-focused infrastructure. You will lead large-scale data analysis, support both on-prem and cloud apps, and act as primary responder for daily operations while ensuring security and patching alignment.

The role emphasizes virtualization, network design, and cross-domain collaboration, with strong emphasis on Linux, scripting, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux skills.
• 8+ years in large-scale enterprise IT (cloud, datacenter, virtualization).
• Experience designing/maintaining security best practices and documentation.
• Monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for cloud and on-prem resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and implement network hardware and server environments; analyze performance and support operational issues.
• Plan and design new infrastructure, including virtualization, network OS, and data/voice networks; provide systems management and integration.
• Ensure patches, accreditation tasks, SOPs, and guides; advise on tech purchases and future project feasibility.
