Amentum in Washington, DC is seeking a Top-Secret cleared Software Developer to join our agile team delivering data-driven on-premises and cloud applications. The role emphasizes secure, high-performance software development across back-end and front-end tech stacks.

The position requires1+ year of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. It is a safety sensitive role with standard federal contractor expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing, testing, and deploying back-end software in Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, Typescript, or .NET.
• Proficiency with backend frameworks and Agile SDLC practices.
• Experience with development tools (Git, IDEs, code quality tools) and modern QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug software enhancements for on-premises and cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with technical staff to resolve software issues and respond to customer feedback.
• Ensure security, performance, and quality requirements are met across products.
• Create and maintain documentation and assist in deployment automation.
