Job summary

Northrop Grumman Cincinnati is seeking a cleared Staff Software Engineer to lead a team developing cutting-edge algorithms in MATLAB, C/C++, or Python in Linux/Windows environments. You will work with signal processing, RF, and AI/ML techniques on state-of-the-art programs for national security, reporting to the Mission Systems sector.

The role requires US Citizenship, Top‑Secret clearance, and prior defense-project leadership, with opportunities for a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 12+ years of experience, MS with 10+ years, or PhD with 7+ years in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• US Citizenship required.
• Top-Secret clearance required.
• Experience as a technical lead on a defense project.
• Experience in Agile software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers developing cutting-edge algorithms in MATLAB or other languages.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply-chain teams.
• Provide technical guidance to senior leadership and external partners.
