Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is hiring a Software/Web Developer in Dayton, OH to join a mission-focused team maintaining applications, services, and microservices on a DoD-focused platform. You will develop, test, and support high-performance software and web applications using Java, HTML, XML, and related technologies.

The role emphasizes sustainment and development to deliver new capabilities, with training and DevSecOps involvement, while ensuring compliance with DoD processes and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must be DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level 2 and IA Management (IAM) Level 2.
• Experience on a DoD/DIA DevSecOps development team.
• Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Supports software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration with both new and legacy systems.
• Interacts with customers and development team to gather and define requirements.
• Analyzes and studies customer requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy their needs.
• Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
• Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications.
