Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics, large data sets, real-time processing, and business management information systems. You will review and test components, document results, and work on design trade-offs.

The role requires C++, Python and/or Golang experience, AI/ML development or integration, and an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• AI/ML development or integration experience.
• Terraform experience with AWS.
• Experience with C++, Python and/or Golang.
• Experience with writing high-performance / GPU-enabled applications.
• Experience with large-scale streaming data analytic systems.
• 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and data usage.
