Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. You will develop data pipelines, API services, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization, using Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS.

The role requires building scalable web apps with secure CI/CD, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-based databases to enable analytics and dashboards across GIS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in full-stack development and data engineering.
• Experience deploying full-stack apps for data visualization in ESRI GIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases.
• Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, API services, and dashboards for geospatial and structured data.
• Work with Data Lakes platforms including Databricks and Kubernetes in ESRI ArcGIS environments.
• Build scalable, secure web applications with metadata-driven search and retrieval features.
• Integrate APIs for seamless data interoperability and visualization.
• Deploy full-stack apps enabling data visualization and analytics within GIS platforms and cloud databases.
