Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data visualization.

The ideal candidate has experience with Data Lakes platforms including Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, and cloud-based data engineering. On-site work in Miami, FL is required with Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field or 5+ years of equivalent full-stack/data-engineering experience.
Experience building and deploying full-stack apps for visualization, dashboards, and analytics in GIS platforms.
Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data access and integration.
Experience managing CI/CD, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data interoperability.
Enable data visualization and analytics within ESRI GIS platforms and cloud databases.
