Job summary

KBR is seeking a Policy Team Lead to lead a team providing policy support to the CIO for a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. The role requires managing contractors and interfacing with the government on technical execution and program issues.

Primary responsibilities include directing execution across technical and administrative domains, briefing leadership on milestones, and maintaining mission awareness to ensure effective support.

Qualifications

• CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Requires four years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience providing technical materials for senior leaders (e.g., strategic papers, executive briefings).
• Experience overseeing portfolio/program performance and resource planning.
• Experience with acquisition/procurement strategy including vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field and 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the execution of contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts of the team.
• Brief leadership on program progress, status, and milestones.
• Be the primary interface with government customers on technical and project issues.
• Maintain awareness of the customer’s mission and any potential impacts to that mission.
