Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Policy Team Lead to oversee a government CIO-focused policy team in the Northern Virginia area. The role directs contractors across contractual, technical, engineering and administrative efforts, while briefing leadership on progress and milestones.

The ideal candidate holds an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, with 4+ years in project/program management and experience producing materials for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Requires CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Requires four years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders (e.g., strategic papers, analyses, briefings).
• Experience overseeing or guiding portfolio/program performance and resource planning.
• Experience with vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the execution of contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance and admin efforts.
• Brief leadership on program progress and milestones.
• Serve as primary interface with government customer on technical and project issues.
• Maintain awareness of the customer’s mission and potential impacts to that mission.
