Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Northern Virginia is seeking a Policy Team Lead to direct and coordinate a contracted team providing policy support to the CIO for a government customer.

You will manage technical and administrative efforts and act as the main interface on technical and project issues, ensuring alignment with mission requirements. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 4+ years as a PM, and experience translating mission priorities into IT roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience providing technical materials for senior leaders (strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings).
• Experience overseeing portfolio/program performance and resource planning.
• Experience with acquisition/procurement strategy including vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and direct execution of contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts of the team.
• Brief leadership on program progress, status, and milestones.
• Be the primary interface with the government customer on technical and project issues.
• Maintain awareness of the customer mission and potential impacts to that mission.
