St. Michael's Inc. is seeking a Federal Financial GL Accountant to support an Intelligence Community client. You will close General Ledger entries, analyze accounting data, and manage USSGL accounts in a client-facing role emphasizing dependability and accuracy.

The role requires active Top-Secret SCI with CI Polygraph, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and 5+ years of Federal accounting experience. On-site in Washington, DC with competitive compensation and potential discretionary bonus.

Qualificações

• Active Top-Secret SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Five or more years of Federal accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and fiscal year-end JV preparation and posting.
• Familiarity with the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) for year-end pre- and post-closing activities.
• Detailed USSGL knowledge relating to direct and reimbursable funding and relationships between accounts.
• Experience supporting customers in the Intelligence Community (IC).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct reviews and analysis of Commitment Control to General Ledger reconciliations and identify root causes of outages.
• Ensure all prior month JVs are reversed and JVs in error are resolved and posted to the GL.
• Support and document month-end closing processes, including JV posting and TB reconciliations.
• Build custom queries, analyze entry events, and review EERT/PART entries for posting and reconciliation.
• Assist with PBC audit requests related to financial documentation and PCMs.
• Prepare accurate daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly JV entries using USSGL accounts.
