Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Utility Cleaner in McLean, VA to maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. You will sweep, mop, dust, scrub, wipe surfaces, and handle waste, with duties expanding to stocking supplies and reporting any issues.

The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, US citizenship, and flexibility with day and night shifts. Prior custodial experience is preferred; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general work experience.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mop tile and concrete floors; vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies.
• Empty waste baskets and manage trash.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and lights; clean windows and surfaces.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and safe use of chemicals.
