Job summary

Mister Kleen Maintenance Company in Northern Virginia is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, safe and orderly facilities for our clients with a 20-hour weekly schedule and evening shifts.

The role requires an active Top Secret Security Clearance or higher, knowledge of cleaning methods, and the ability to lift and operate cleaning equipment safely. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance or higher is REQUIRED.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift heavy objects while operating cleaning equipment safely.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings and perform routine maintenance including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Gather and dispose of trash.
• Sanitize restrooms and restock supplies.
• Dust furniture and clean windows.
• Mix cleaning solutions and follow health and safety protocols.
• Polish furniture, shampoo carpets and monitor supply inventory.
• Notify management of necessary repairs.
