Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated Risk Mitigation Specialist/Officer to manage a portfolio of RMSs addressing risk indicators for government programs. The role requires a Top Secret-SCI clearance and the ability to coordinate with government and contractor staff.

Responsibilities include directing RMS development, conducting peer reviews, meeting suspense dates, and mentoring junior RMOs while ensuring adherence to DoD and internal guidance. Travel within the U.S. may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS-SCI clearance required.
• At least 8 years of experience in risk management/analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and oversee RMSs addressing risk indicators with clear treatments and residual risk.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to RMOs.
• Manage workload and meet suspense dates.
• Review DCSA all-source products and government data; produce a Risk Management Strategy (RMS) and Source Packages (SPs).
• Coordinate with government and contractor staff included in risk management processes.
• Present at conferences and meetings with internal and external customers on risk management matters.
