Amentum is seeking a Risk Mitigation Specialist to support the DCSA EV office, focusing on risk indicators, mitigation strategies, and eligibility decisions. You will work within RMS teams to deliver clear, defensible analyses.

This role emphasizes collaboration with government customers, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining adherence to internal standards and guidance. Strong data analysis and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a labor-related field.
• 8 years’ experience in risk management across multiple domains.
• Experience with ISO 31000 or COSO ERM frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Data analysis, trend analysis, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee RMSs addressing risk indicators with rationale and residual risk.
• Ensure RMSs meet quality standards and internal style guides.
• Manage portfolio of mitigated companies and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor less experienced RMOs.
• Monitor KPIs and respond to information requests from government customers.
• Participate in conferences/meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
