Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support the NOTM program at NIWC PAC in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on testing networking tech, configuring systems, and drafting test plans for military communications and vehicle prototypes.

Requires active SECRET clearance, Security+ and CCNA certs, engineering/CS degree, 2–6 years' experience, and strong technical writing skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification required.
• CCNA certification required (or within 90 days of hire).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science related field with 2-6 years of experience.
• Experience with NSA Type 1 encryption equipment required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory assets used to test emerging networking technologies.
• Install and configure networked systems including computers, routing and switching hardware and protocols.
• Establish, troubleshoot and maintain LAN connectivity for multiple security enclaves.
• Assist in testing and evaluation of new equipment for NOTM program inclusion.
• Draft test plans and test reports documenting networking testing.
• Provide input to Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) for prototype military vehicles.
