Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support NIWC Pacific in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on DoD networking, NOTM program support, and fielding secure WAN/LAN solutions for tactical environments.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, CCNA and Security+ CE, and 2–6 years of related experience, with NSA Type 1 encryption exposure. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• CCNA and Security+ CE certifications required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 2–6 years of experience.
• Experience with NSA Type 1 encryption equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure networked systems, including routing and switching hardware.
• Establish and maintain local and wide area network connectivity for multiple enclaves.
• Assist military personnel with networking, communications, and systems issues.
• Test new equipment and evaluate for NOTM program inclusion.
• Test QoS strategies to improve performance over TAC data links.
• Assist in development and testing of prototype tactical vehicles.
