Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer in Charleston, SC to support NIWC Atlantic initiatives. A current DoD Top-Secret clearance is required for a CONUS, full-time assignment.

The ISSE will integrate cybersecurity into architectures, develop RMF artifacts, and coordinate with engineers and government stakeholders to ensure a secure, compliant environment. Responsibilities span security control implementation, vulnerability assessments, risk

Qualifications

• Five (5) years with Bachelor’s degree or seven (7) years with HS/GED of practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A/C&A.
• Working knowledge of RMF processes; prior DIACAP experience is a plus.
• Experience with IA tools such as eMASS or ACAS and secure control assessments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cybersecurity into system architecture and documentation across the lifecycle.
• Engineer, implement, and validate RMF security controls per DoD guidance.
• Prepare RMF artifacts and risk assessments for system authorization.
• Collaborate with engineers and government stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant designs.
