Job summary

A defense contractor seeks an Indexing Operations Specialist in Quantico, Virginia. The role encompasses the oversight and accurate maintenance of criminal indexing records for the Department of the Air Force. Essential functions include managing records within FBI systems, engaging with compliance officers, and ensuring adherence to federal policies. Candidates must possess at least 5 years of relevant experience and a Top-Secret clearance. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience creating or managing criminal justice information records.
• 3 years’ experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or similar criminal justice experience.
• Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct entries of records within FBI criminal justice information systems.
• Act as the focal point for Disposition of Firearms checks.
• Engage with Indexing Compliance Managers and JA offices at respective bases.
• Conduct real-time evaluations and audits of DAF indexing records.
• Ensure compliance with DoW and DAF policies regarding records.
• Monitor and track requests for DAF information in federal databases.
• Engage with DAF-CJIC Data Manager regarding MAJCOM compliance issues.
• Provide resolutions to Requests for Information team.
