Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to advance data pipelines and analytics for DoD missions. You will ingest, transform, and optimize large datasets in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/MilCloud 2.0) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Requirements include a US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance, a STEM degree with 3+ years of data engineering, and proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala, plus experience with Spark and

Qualifications

3+ years in data engineering or related field.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing with Spark.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, MilCloud 2.0).
Proficient in Python, SQL, or Scala for data processing.
Familiar with STIGs and secure data systems.

Responsibilities

Ingest, transform, and prepare structured and unstructured data.
Build, automate, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Monitor data environments and optimize performance and costs.
Prototype new data capabilities and evaluate emerging tech.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and secure data retrieval.
Apply DoD STIGs across data systems to ensure security compliance.
