Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Richardson, TX for an onsite Cybersecurity role requiring active Top Secret clearance. The position emphasizes security architecture, RMF documentation, and ongoing compliance across embedded systems and networked environments.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with extensive experience, DoD security clearance, and strong knowledge of RMF/IA processes, cybersecurity controls, and validation testing. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
• Experience with security features or vulnerability analysis of various OS.
• Experience with Systems Engineering requirements and specifications.
• Experience implementing DoD/Federal IA certification, accreditation, and RMF.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer requirements to design security architecture and policies.
• Support RMF assessment docs and controls validation for ATO.
• Analyze cybersecurity data and test results.
• Conduct cybersecurity audits and ensure continuous security posture compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering to minimize cybersecurity threats in designs.
