Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Cybersecurity Analyst in Clearfield, UT, to join the Ground Subsystem Support Contract cyber team. You will perform assessments, certification activities, and rigorous security documentation to ensure compliance with DoD RMF and NIST standards.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, appropriate ISSM certifications, and experience with NIST, FedRAMP, or PCI DSS. Travel is possible, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• US Citizen and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret).
• Current DoDD 8140 ISSM 722-Intermediate Certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess weapon system components and networks for configuration deviations and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Support certification and accreditation processes, including documentation and audits.
• Document results of assessments and prepare System Security Plans and POA&Ms.
• Review system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Provide security assessments to ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMF guidance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience

Master’s degree with 3 years of experience

PhD with 1 year of experience
