Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Defense Analyst to support mission-critical IT services and security operations for USSTRATCOM. You will monitor sensors, analyze threats, triage incidents, and maintain secure systems across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, 3+ years of related experience, and DoD 8140-aligned certifications. Offutt AFB, NE location with onsite work and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
• US citizenship required.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start.
• CySA+, CEH, GCIA, GCFA, Security+ or DoD 8140 aligned certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CSSP sensors and investigate abnormal findings.
• Perform threat intelligence analysis and generate reports.
• Triage incidents and support incident response.
• Maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information assets.
• Develop mission-critical technical documents.
• Assess impacts from data theft or tampering.
• Audit systems for security and compliance with plans.
• Adhere to security policies for data, apps, hardware, and communications.
