Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as COMSEC Clerk or in COMSEC account support.
• Navy COMSEC accountability and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience with KMI/EKMS or related tools.
• Experience supporting COMSEC inspections, inventories, and destruction documents.
• Prior work with Navy aviation, training commands, or SAPs.

Responsibilities

• Assist receipt, issue, transfer, storage, inventory, and disposition of COMSEC material.
• Maintain accountability records, hand receipts, and inventory reports.
• Participate in inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Verify recipient authorization and document custody transfers.
• Safeguard classified material using approved procedures.
• Track deadlines and notify managers of approaching actions.
• Assist with destruction and witness activities as trained.
• Support COMSEC inspections and account reviews with organized evidence.
• Report suspected loss or compromise through proper channels.
• Maintain training records, access rosters, and SOPs as assigned.
• Coordinate material requirements with users, security staff, and personnel.
• Perform related security admin duties within scope.
