Job summary

The role is on-site in Denver, CO, leading architectural decisions, modernizing environments, and guiding DNS, Azure, and AWS initiatives.

You will drive architectural direction, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud and on-premise solutions aligned with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in DNS architecture and ability to explain concepts to technical teams.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Cloud migration expertise including rehost, replatform, refactor strategies and migrations to Azure/AWS.
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure including VDI, VMware, and mixed Windows/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted solutions architecture expert and industry leader.
• Design solutions based on business and technical requirements; assess trade-offs and recommend optimal architectures.
• Evaluate current technologies and recommend adoption or refinement of standards and processes.
• Improve performance, security, and efficiency by assessing existing architectures and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and maintain service design procedures using established frameworks and methodologies.
• Deliver technical presentations and analytical briefings to diverse audiences.
• Elicit requirements and recommend products across software, platform, network, and cloud domains.
• Design, plan, and deploy DNS architectures focusing on scalability and security.
• Implement and optimize monitoring tools to detect and address issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Support and guide cloud migration initiatives to Azure and AWS.
• Provide status updates on cost, schedule, risks, and quality to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor less-experienced professionals; may lead teams.
