Job summary

Coho Consulting Group seeks a Project Manager to support IT initiatives within the SOCOM Information Environment at Hurlburt Field, FL. You will plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and close projects delivering new or enhanced IT capabilities for USSOCOM and allied commands.

You will work closely with Government stakeholders to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery following established project management practices and rigorous documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in project lifecycle management.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation.
• Schedule and resource management experience.
• Experience in Government IT project management.
• Stakeholder coordination experience.
• Performance reporting and project documentation experience.
• IT service delivery and operational transition experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close assigned IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution.
