Job summary

Coho Consulting Group seeks a Project Manager to support IT initiatives within the SOCOM Information Environment at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing, and closing projects delivering new or enhanced IT capabilities for USSOCOM and allied commands, in collaboration with Government stakeholders to meet schedule, budget, and contract requirements.

Essential qualifications include active Top-Secret clearance, PMP certification, and DoD/Federal experience.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
• No degree required; DoD/Federal government experience preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution.
