Job summary

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to support IT initiatives within the SOCOM Information Environment at Hurlburt Field, FL. The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and close projects that deliver new or enhanced IT capabilities for USSOCOM, Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces.

Candidates must hold an active Top-Secret clearance, PMP certification, and have experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs; strong leadership and

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance required.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close assigned IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution.
