Job summary

Coho Consulting Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT initiatives within the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE). You will plan, execute, monitor, and close projects delivering new or enhanced IT capabilities for USSOCOM, Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces, coordinating with Government stakeholders to meet schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.

Qualified candidates hold a Top-Secret clearance and a PMP certification; no degree is required.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret security clearance required.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution
