Job summary

Encode, Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft, seeks a cybersecurity engineer with an active TS clearance to assess risk, perform system analyses, and support ATO/IATT packages for DoD programs.

Responsibilities include STIG application, risk assessments, software assurance, and collaboration with ISSOs to meet NIST/DFARS requirements, with a focus on clear requirements and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II / IAM Level I or higher.
• 2+ years in product security / cybersecurity engineering.
• 2+ years with NIST, OWASP, DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Assess organization-wide security and privacy risk and update results regularly.
• Develop system tests for cyber threats and cybersecurity of large-scale events.
• Support ATO/IATT packages and processing of CTOs for Cyber Tools.
• Perform cyber risk assessments and develop POA&Ms and SCRM plans.
• Perform software assurance tasks and produce risk reports.
• Ensure secure development lifecycle with clear requirements verification.
• Collaborate with ISSOs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support cyber threat intelligence activities and cyber scanning/patching.
