Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Secret Clearance; IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5).
• 8140 Baseline Certification: Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support - Proficiency Level: Intermediate
• Candidate must possess one of the following certifications: CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, PenTest+, SSCP, Security+, and GSEC.
• Note: higher or advanced GIAC or CISSP concentrations also satisfy the intermediate requirement
• 8140 Baseline Certification: Secondary DCWF Work Role 441: Network Operations Specialist - Proficiency Level: Intermediate
• Candidate must possess one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), SSCP, and select GIAC credentials(such as GSEC, GCIH, or GICSP
• Computing Environment Certification: Trellix IPS manager, Check Point Threat Prevention Specialist (CTPS)
• Four (4) years of experience creating customized signatures using SNORT.

Responsibilities

• Provide security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
• Analyze information security requirements and apply analytical and systematic approaches to resolve problems related to cybersecurity workflow, organization, and planning.
