Job summary

Soft Tech Consulting Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support a government client in Suitland, MD.

The role requires a US citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance, with the first 60 days on-site and a later pattern of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. The successful candidate will coordinate with client leadership, project leads and IT staff to streamline processes, develop workflow diagrams, and provide clear reporting on system status, MASS tickets, and project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Cyber Security or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis or similar role.
• Experience with Scrum methodologies/processes and supporting Scrum artifacts/events.
• Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
• Scrum Master training desired or required.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with client leadership regarding requirements and act as liaison between leadership and the team.
• Define business systems, create outlines and workflow diagrams, and present plans for accomplishing tasks.
• Help the team operate cohesively with energy and enthusiasm.
• Facilitate and support Scrum activities.
• Analyze user data and workflows to streamline operations and support MASS system.
• Prepare periodic reports and status updates for multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT personnel to ensure timely deliverables and test system components.
