Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in related field.
• Must be manufacturer trained on the BAS installed.
• Training certificates required.
• Minimum 10 years of BAS engineering or facility ops experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot BAS for HVAC, lighting and energy management.
• Perform system upgrades, software updates and calibration of BAS controllers and sensors.
• Manage BAS service contracts, projects and repairs with vendors.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Develop energy management strategies to cut consumption.
• Keep detailed records of configurations and maintenance histories.
• Collaborate with facilities staff and DOS personnel to ensure comfort, safety, and code compliance.
