Job summary

Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a BAS Engineer to maintain and optimize building automation systems across DoD facilities. You will manage BAS contracts, coordinate with vendors, and implement energy management strategies to improve comfort and safety.

The role requires at least 10 years of BAS experience, a Bachelor of Science in a related field, and active DoD security clearance. Manufacturer training and issued certificates are mandatory to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in related field.
• Must be manufacturer trained on the Building Automation System(s) installed.
• Training Certificates required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in BAS Engineering Services or facility operations.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems controlling HVAC, lighting, and energy management to sustain reliable building operations.
• Perform system upgrades, software updates, and calibration of BAS controllers, sensors, and field devices to maintain optimal performance.
• Manage and track all BAS related service contracts, projects, and repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, alarms, and operational issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce consumption and support building efficiency goals.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and repair histories.
• Collaborate with facilities staff, engineers, and DOS personnel to support building comfort, safety, and code compliance.
