Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded Complex Commercial Litigation Group. This position offers exposure to sophisticated disputes for major corporations and financial institutions, with partners and cross-practice teams.

You will manage all phases of litigation, maintain direct client contact, advise on risk, and contribute to case strategy from inception to resolution.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Washington, DC.
• Experience in complex commercial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial preparation.
• Advise clients on litigation risk, dispute strategy, and business-focused solutions to complex commercial issues.
• Collaborate closely with partners and cross-practice teams on multifaceted and high-value disputes.
• Engage in direct client contact and contribute to the development of case strategies from inception through resolution.
