Responsibilities

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its expanding litigation practice in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and hands-on experience handling sophisticated, high-stakes disputes.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex litigation matters through all stages of the case lifecycle, including legal research, drafting substantive motions and pleadings, handling written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation. Associates will work closely with experienced litigators on challenging matters while developing the skills necessary to become trusted advisors and advocates for clients.

The firm's litigation team represents clients in a broad range of complex business disputes and contentious matters. Associates are given significant responsibility from the outset and are encouraged to take an active role in case strategy, client counseling, and courtroom advocacy.
