Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Personal Lines Producer in Texas to build a growing book of homeowners, auto, renters, and umbrella policies. You’ll focus on new client acquisition, consultative coverage recommendations, and carrier quoting across multiple markets.

This role requires 1–3 years in insurance sales, a Property & Casualty license, strong communication, and a disciplined, customer‑friendly approach. You’ll work in a collaborative agency environment with sales goals and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Producer License (state-specific)
• 1–3+ years of insurance sales or customer-facing experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to explain insurance concepts in a simple, relatable manner
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Professional demeanor and ethical sales approach

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and generate new personal lines clients through referrals, networking, inbound leads, and community involvement
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales production goals established by the agency
• Conduct client consultations to assess individual risk exposures and insurance needs
• Present coverage options and provide clear recommendations tailored to each household
• Quote new business with multiple carriers and follow up promptly on proposals
• Educate clients on policy features, limits, deductibles, and endorsements
• Cross-sell additional products such as life and health insurance when licensed
• Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and account rounding
• Maintain accurate client and prospect data within the agency management system/CRM
• Follow agency underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
• Participate in agency marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
• Assist with policy reviews, renewals, and remarketing as necessary
