Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Producer License (state-specific).

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and generate new personal lines clients through referrals, networking, inbound leads, and community involvement.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales production goals.
• Conduct client consultations to assess risk exposures and insurance needs.
• Present coverage options and provide clear recommendations tailored to each household.
• Quote new business with multiple carriers and follow up promptly on proposals.
• Educate clients on policy features, limits, deductibles, and endorsements.
• Cross-sell additional products such as life and health insurance when licensed.
• Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and account rounding.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect data within the agency management system/CRM.
• Follow agency underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Participate in agency marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
• Assist with policy reviews, renewals, and remarketing as necessary.
