Job summary

Distro is seeking an Insurance Sales Producer to join a Farmers agency in Texas. This full-cycle sales role focuses on building relationships, generating new business, closing sales, and growing a personal book of business across Personal Lines.

Ideal candidates have a Texas P&C license, prior insurance sales experience, and strong communication skills. You will manage multiple opportunities, prospect actively, and collaborate with referral partners to drive growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Active Texas General Lines P&C license or Personal Lines P&C license.
• Previous insurance sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in a sales environment with measurable goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine comfort speaking with customers by phone.
• Strong prospecting, follow-up, and closing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline.
• Ability to work independently while following agency processes.
• Strong computer, email, CRM, and agency management system skills.
• High level of integrity when handling confidential customer and financial information.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Personal auto insurance meeting agency requirements.
• Preferred 1+ year of Personal Lines insurance sales experience.
• Experience selling within a Farmers agency.
• Experience with AgencyZoom, Salesforce, RingCentral, or similar systems.
• Existing referral relationships or a strong network in the DFW market.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: respond to leads, prospect via calls, texts, emails, and follow-up.
• Consultative Insurance Sales: assess needs and present coverage options.
• Closing & Onboarding: bind coverage and collect required documentation.
• Account Rounding & Cross-Selling: grow multi-policy households and referrals.
• Compliance & Documentation: maintain accurate records and follow agency procedures.
