Job summary

UPMC Northwest is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care in Seneca, PA, with a 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule and beeper call every other day. The role includes pre-anesthesia evaluations, planning, and intraoperative management across diverse procedures.

Compensation features a generous package including a $100K sign-on and potential base pay around $600K–$650K for this position, with full malpractice coverage and loan repayment support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
