Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is supporting UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA with a full-time anesthesiologist opportunity. The role covers general, urology, endocrine, and related procedures, with a 26-week on/26-week off schedule and no on-call requirements.

Requirements include an MD or DO, completion of an anesthesiology residency, and board eligibility or certification. A current medical license and ECFMG/FLEX if applicable are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified status or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiology and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position RequirementsDescriptionAnesthesiologist opportunity with a collaborative team supporting UPMC Northwest. Located in Seneca, Cranberry Township, PA, UPMC Northwest is a community hospital with state-of-the-art treatment technology. The facility has 96 private rooms. Thirty of these rooms can be adjusted to accommodate semiprivate occupancy and provide a total of up to 126 beds. The UPMC Behavioral Health Network includes a behavioral health building with 28 beds that is connected to the UPMC Northwest hospital by an enclosed walkway. The site also includes a 16-bed unit for transitional care and a nine-bed unit for inpatient rehabilitation. Team members are collegial, collaborative, and supportive of one another in an environment where the emphasis is on quality and safety.
