Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks an Anesthesiologist for UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA. This full-time role supports a busy operating room schedule with orthopedic, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT, and ophthalmology cases; no cardiac or neuro cases; limited pediatric cases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology.
• Current medical licensure to practice in the state.
• ECFMG/FLEX certification if applicable for international medical graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiology and intervene as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Education
