Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join the team at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA. The hospital offers state-of-the-art care and a collaborative environment with a 26-week on/off schedule and no call requirement.

The position provides a total rewards package, including a $400K salary and a $75K sign-on bonus, along with comprehensive benefits and generous PTO. Candidates must be MD/DO, board eligible/board certified, and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position Requirements Description

Anesthesiologist opportunity with a collaborative team supporting UPMC Northwest. Located in Seneca, Cranberry Township, PA, UPMC Northwest is a community hospital with state-of-the-art treatment technology. The facility has 96 private rooms. Thirty of these rooms can be adjusted to accommodate semiprivate occupancy and provide a total of up to 126 beds. The UPMC Behavioral Health Network includes a behavioral health building with 28 beds that is connected to the UPMC Northwest hospital by an enclosed walkway. The site also includes a 16-bed unit for transitional care and a nine-bed unit for inpatient rehabilitation. Team members are collegial, collaborative, and supportive of one another in an environment where the emphasis is on quality and safety. To support a work-life balance, the facility offers equitable staffing and scheduling arrangements.

Case Assignments & Schedule

Schedule: 26 week on/ 26 week off schedule option! Two continuous weeks per month. Monday through Friday schedule. No call required
