Job summary

Main Street Auto is seeking a highly organized Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. You will be the main point of contact for customers, scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repairs while delivering an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, gathering vehicle history, preparing accurate cost estimates, creating repair orders, and following up to ensure satisfaction. 3-5 years of experience preferred; no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive education a plus.
• 3–5 years experience as a service advisor preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced shop.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and set a welcoming, professional tone.
• Act as main contact for customers and document concerns.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments with technicians.
• Prepare cost estimates for parts and labor and obtain approval.
• Create and maintain repair orders and service records.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and address issues.
