Job summary

Nightingale Visiting Nurses of Massachusetts is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services in home health, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will help patients regain mobility and independence with one-on-one care.

The role requires MA PTA licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. A minimum of 1 year PTA experience is preferred, with orientation at our Taunton office and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in MA required.
• Minimum 1 year PTA/PT experience preferred.
• Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) preferred.
• Current Physical Exam within last 12 months.
• Current TB test within last 12 months and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to attend a 3-day orientation at our Taunton Office.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Prepare accurate daily progress notes for treatments provided (to be reviewed and signed by the PT).
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Submit all visit records and documentation in a timely manner.
• Attend in-service and on-the-job training sessions as required.
• Follow Nightingale’s established policies and procedures.
