Job summary

Norton Energy Drilling is seeking an experienced technician in Lubbock to service and repair top drives on drilling rigs. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing top drive issues, overhauling components, and training rig personnel. Ideal candidates have excellent knowledge of AC and hydraulic systems, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers work vehicles, cell phones, and group medical insurance after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of both AC and hydraulic top drives.
• Ability to diagnose problems and make field repairs.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose top drive problems and make onsite repairs.
• Overhaul top drives and components in shop facilities.
• Train rig personnel on top drive operation and maintenance.

Skills
