Job summary

Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, TX is seeking a results-driven Dealership Automotive Salesperson to sell vehicles and meet dealership goals while delivering exceptional customer care. You will prospect, qualify customers, demonstrate vehicles, deliver demos, and close deals, then follow up to ensure satisfaction and referrals.

This role includes daily targets and a team-based environment with ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
• At least 1-3 years of sales dealership and/or customer facing sales experience.
• Honda Brand experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and guarantee satisfaction of customers.
• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
• Deliver vehicles to customers and explain operating features, warranty, and paperwork to build loyalty.
• Establish personal income goals and devise a plan to meet them.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Keep abreast of inventory, features, and benefits for customers.
• Coordinate with service department to ensure vehicles are reconditioned as scheduled.
• Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and manufacturer.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
