Job summary

Jabil, a global expert in engineering and manufacturing solutions, seeks a Toolroom Supervisor to lead daily toolroom operations, drive preventive maintenance, and manage repairs for commercial and NPI projects. You will supervise Toolmakers, Technicians, and related roles, promoting safe practices and measurable improvements.

Responsibilities include prioritizing PM/repair work with engineers and workcells, conducting root-cause investigations, and ensuring cGMP-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising toolroom operations and teams.
• Knowledge of machining, tooling principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Lean Six Sigma practices are a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with cGMP procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety as our number one priority throughout the room.
• Supervise daily toolroom operations to meet production demand.
• Support mold repairs, mold maintenance and molding improvements for commercial production and NPI.
• Lead cross-functional root cause investigations with process engineers, quality engineers, tooling engineers, toolmakers and repair technicians.
• Set tooling PM/repair priorities with workcell managers and tooling engineers.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to strengthen tooling processes and repair of customers' tools.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and documentation throughout daily processes.
